Creating safe spaces for LGBT+ people webinar

This is a two-hour webinar open to anyone who works or volunteers in the community and would like to make their organisation or group an open and safe space for LGBT+ individuals taking place on Monday 16th November at 10am on Zoom.

We will discuss the meaning of LGBT+, as well as how to be an ally to the LGBT+ community.

This includes how to make your organisation or meeting space open and inviting, make it clear that LGBT+ individuals are welcome, identify and address barriers to access, and how to create or adapt policies/procedures and actions to make your group or organisation as inclusive as possible.

There will be time at the end for questions and discussion, and we encourage questions even if you are unsure on how to ask. Questions can also be sent privately via direct message to be addressed.
