Join us for a gentle hike on Saturday 13 August 2022. We’ll be doing the Walk of the Planets, part of the Kerry Way, starting in Caherdaniel village at the sculpture of the sun. The route is 3.5k each way. (7k total) Meeting in the village carpark at 10a.m.
Some boggy/rocky terrain at the beginning/end of the route, but the rest is very accessible and suitable for all levels of fitness.
Bring your water bottle and dress suitably for the weather. Decent footwear recommended.
We will book a space at The Blind Piper, Caherdaniel for anyone who wants to join for food and drinks afterwards.
Event is totally free, but ticketed so we can get an idea of numbers. Book here now!

Join us for a fun seaside fitness session by Aspire Fitness at Ballinskelligs Beach. Suitable for all fitness levels, from total beginner to workout fanatics.
Class will run from 12pm midday on Sunday 17 July – don’t forget your water bottle!

Bring the little ones along on Friday 15th July and join the South West Kerry Family Resource Centre for some rainbow chalk art at the Fair Green, Cahersiveen from 10am to 12pm. Teas and coffees for the grown-ups kindly sponsored by Fox in the Box. See you there!

We are excited to announce our second annual community beach clean in association with Sea Synergy. This year the Sea Synergy team have added a bunch of surprises and interesting sealife activities that will be fun for all ages. All equipment will be provided, and attendees will be treated to teas and coffees thanks to The Beachcove Cafe afterwards!

We are excited to be unveiling our Pride bench as a permanent installation on Waterville’s seafront on Saturday 16th July at 11.45am.
Made as part of a workshop during Waterville’s first ever Pride celebrations in 2021, the bench will be unveiled by councillor Norma Moriarty as a visible reminder of the progress Ireland is making towards equality for all members of society.
