Looking for LGBT+ and other performers for a performance project in Listowel

St John’s Theatre and Arts Centre is collaborating with New York-based artist and choreographer Gillian Walsh to bring a site-specific performance project exploring the intersection of queerness, theology, and performance to Kerry.

This project collaborates with LGBT+ individuals to connect to church histories to develop site-specific performances rooted in the local, religious, and cultural landscape.

Workshop dates are Saturday and Sundays Nov. 30th & Dec. 1st, and Dec. 7th & 8th with the performance on the 8th

Free webinar on how to improve the workplace and service provision for LGBT+ staff and clients

Listowel Family Resource Centre and HSE Social Inclusion are providing a webinar to improve the workplace and service provision for LGBT+ staff and clients, with a talk on legislation, inclusion, and comfortability, as well as a Q&A session, and resource pack with sample policies and procedures.

Webinars taking place on Tuesday 21st November at 11:30am and 7pm on Zoom.

Trans Kerry Support Group will be hosting a Transgender Voice Training workshop on Thursday August 24th in Tralee, from 6-7pm.

This will be facilitated by a HSE Speech and Language Therapist, Emir Murphy.
